Creating Image Sitemaps for Google

Did you know you can create and submit image sitemaps to Google? If you have a website with lots of images it makes good sense to tell Google of them all, and benefit from some image searches as well! :)

To get started, check this image sitemaps tutorial. Then make sure to submit the image sitemap generated to Google afterwards. (Do notice that other search engines like Yahoo and Bing still don't support image sitemaps.)

Create YouTube Video Sitemaps

While it with sitemap generator software has been possible for a long time to create video sitemaps of sites hosting videos on same server as website or on external video content servers, YouTube video sitemaps have not been considered as useful by all.

Afterall, if a video is hosted on Google owned YouTube, Google search engine probably knows about the video already :) But still many people have wanted the ability to associate a website with YouTube hosted videos, and so support for video sitemaps of videos hosted on YouTube has now been added to A1 Sitemap Generator.
